Nelson Lewis, DVM
Nelson Lewis, DVM, cVMA

Dr. Lewis is a 2006 graduate of Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he joined Backstretch Medicine and Surgery, a prominent racetrack veterinary practice in Louisiana and Kentucky. His primary interests are sports medicine and lameness in the Thoroughbred racehorse, Western performance horse, and English discipline horse. Dr. Lewis is also a certified Veterinary Medical Acupunturist. He is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Kentucky. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association.

Andrew Lewis, DVM, DACVS

Dr. Lewis is a 2005 graduate of Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lewis performed a 1 year medicine and surgery internship at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. He then continued his postgraduate training by completing an equine surgical residency at LSU. He is a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). He is also trained in animal chiropractic by Animal Chiropractic Education Source (ACES). His primary interests are orthopedic surgery, upper airway surgery, lameness, and animal chiropractic. He is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Louisiana and Texas. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, Veterinary Orthopedic Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association.

 
Wesley Lee, DVM, DACVS
Wesley Lee, DVM, DACVS

A Sheveport native, Dr. Lee graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Following graduation he completed a one year large animal medicine and surgery internship at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After this, he completed a three year residency in large animal surgery at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a board certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. His interests are equine abdominal surgery and arthroscopic surgery. He is licensed in Louisiana and Georgia. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners.
